Recognising Excellence: 2023 Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Excellence in Education

SLLL's French Program, comprising of Associate Professor Leslie Barnes, Dr Ash Collins, Dr Solene Inceoglu and Dr Gemma King, were recognised the 2023 Vice Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Education in December receiving the Vice-Chancellor's Award for Programs that Enhance Learning. Providing classroom and in-country experiences that explore francophone cultures, societies and histories at all language levels, the French Program is devoted to nurturing a close-knit, vibrant and collaborative student cohort.

As one student commented, "The high quality of teaching and significant support provided by the French faculty have enhanced my experiences, and I look forward to continuing to complete French courses as part of my studies.”
